Alfredo Valentine Couture Bridal Photography Creative Brickell Engagement session with a beautiful couple during the evening was a colaboration between Aricel and myself. Aricel contacted me and discussed a very fashion/glamour themed engagement session. I suggested a Brickell Engagement session in Downtown, Miami for its unique architecture, lighting access to parks and beautiful waterfront.
How did the Brickell Engagement Session start off?
I met with my couple and as I typically do, I take some very simple basic images with natural poses and some light direction in order to get my couple comfortable in front of the camera. Most people aren’t comfortable in front of the camera, especially when I try to illicit emotion as well. If you photograph a couple in a pose with no emotion then all you get is a photograph of a pose. If you add emotion to a pose now you have an energy that can be seen and felt in an image. I wanted this Brickell Engagement Session to be really special.
What took place next during the Brickell Engagement Session?
After a few minutes taking photos of my couple during their Brickell Engagement Session, I showed them some of the images from the back of my Canon 5D3 to give them confidence and see what I was capturing. Thats when the fun began during out Brickell Engagement Session.
Where else did you take pictures for the couples Brickell Engagement Session?
We strolled over to the Brickell Park path on the north side of the first Presbyterian church and captured beautiful photographs of the couple. I used the path and trees to frame this beautiful couple for really dramatic images during their Brickell Engagement Session.
We then took some photographs in front of the First Presbyterian Church on Brickell Avenue for their Brickell ngagement Session.
When the sunset we walked over to 600 Brickell Avenue for some beautiful Brickell Engagement Session photography by the fountains and lit walkways.
The night became really interesting when we met Yonar Puri, the owner of Tamarina to take photographs inside her beautiful restaurant located at 600 Brickell Ave. It was gorgeous and she was kind enough to even offer the couple a nice bottle of champagne.
